1. The 3 things the Savior said were needed for the disciples to heal the man were faith, prayer, and fasting.

3 Nephi 18:20- This scripture teaches that when we come to Heavenly Father in faith and ask Him for that which is right, it will be given unto us.
D&C 50:29- This scripture teaches that in order for miracles to happen and prayers to be answered, we must be purified and cleansed from all sin.
D&C 42:48- This scripture teaches that if we have faith to be healed and it is not our time to die, we will be healed.
If I expect the Lord's help, I must have faith and be free from sin. Faith alone is not enough. Miracles happen when our faith accompanies our actions. Fasting and sincere prayer should also accompany our faith.
