Ziplining

In March Darryl and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary by going zip lining in Big Bear. I have to admit I was REEEEALLY nervous when we first got there. I was on the verge of having a panic attack as I visualized the cable breaking and me falling to my death. Once we did the first line I realized it was totally safe and actually really fun! It helped a little bit that there were a couple ten year old little girls who went before me. I figured if they could do it, so could I. :) 

Here is my one complaint of the day...(because there always has to be at least one, right?)....they didn't let us take any of our own pictures!!! What the heck is that all about?? I was seriously annoyed when I found out we couldn't take our camera with us, but I had no choice so I had to get over it. They had some wannabe photographer follow us around and take our pictures, and then charge us five bucks PER PICTURE! So I hope you enjoy the next 5 pictures because we paid $25 for them!

We did a nine line tour and it was lots of fun!  I would highly recommend it! As part of the tour we got to go off-roading in an Indiana Jones/army jeep which was pretty cool. (If I would have had my camera I would have taken a picture of it.) We definitely want to go again when the kids are a little older and take them with us. They would love it! 

The past nine years have flown by, and now we're zipping our way to 10 years of marriage! So crazy. I have a good life...there is so much to be thankful for.  Every year I realize more and more how perfect Darryl is for me and what a great marriage we have. Cheers to one more year down and many more to go!
