Summer Camping at Rancho Jurupa

For our week of summer vacation we spent a couple days camping at the Rancho Jurupa Park with my sister Heather and her family. It was actually really fun! The campground is nicer then I thought it would be and it's only 20 minutes from home. There are nice bike trails, a playground, a lake to go fishing, a splash park, and a one mile walk/bike ride to the nature center! It's also very affordable to camp there. For anyone who lives in the Riverside area and wants to try camping close to home, this is a great place to go.

The little ones playing card games. Yes, they are all very dirty. The hardest part about camping for me is how dirty my kids get. But I really try to let go of my cleanliness OCD and let them have fun.  :)

Looks like fun! Glad the cousins could spend time together, and don't worry, dirt comes right off! :)

We stayed there before, before they fixed it up and made it even nicer. I'm actually planning a little family reunion there next year! Looks like you had fun!
