Scandia Work Picnic

Last month Darryl's police department hosted a fun family picnic at Scandia. There was free food, prizes, and unlimited rides at the park. It was a fun afternoon!

The big pink slide was the favorite attraction of the day! The kids loved it....and so did Darryl and I :)




We played a round of miniature golf....not all 18 holes. We stopped after hole 11 because Valerie was getting tired and throwing fits. The boys really liked the golfing and would've like to continue, so we'll have to take them again someday!




The boys got to take turns with daddy on the go-cart races. We thought for sure Valerie would not be tall enough and she was devastated when we told her she wouldn't be able to ride with daddy. Much to our surprise, when we got to the sign to check her height she was just barely too short. She stood up on her tippy-toes when they checked her height, and they let her on! She was thrilled.
