On the actual day of my birthday, Darryl took the day off so I could go out and do some shopping ALONE....the best birthday present ever! I went to the running center in Redlands and got some nice running shoes, which I have needed for a while now. I also shopped for some new workout clothes, which for some odd reason I really enjoy buying. At the end of the day I met Darryl's sisters for a manicure and pedicure.
When I got home Valerie was already in bed and the boys surprised me with this delicious cake...
It's not gorgeous, but there's nothing quite like a cake made just for you by your sweet kids and husband. I loved it!
Another year come and gone. Can someone please slow down time for a while????

Sorry to tell you this, but it is going to get WORSE! But, I enjoyed the pictures, and YES, the cake is beautiful!
So sweet to make you a cake, my guy has never done that for me. If Darryl wants to give Todd a few "birthday" pointers - he is welcome to any time! :)
