We had a fun visit with Great-Grandma Hicken! My dad's sister, Aunt Diana, was there also and she is always so much fun to see.
My grandma spent many years making beautiful porcelain dolls. I wish I had inherited some of her sewing skills and craftiness, but for now I will just admire what she has done! She has quite the collection and Valerie was pretty excited when great grandma told her to pick a doll to keep. She picked a baby doll that's almost her size!

Darryl took the boys to go see Great-Grandma Lauritzen. Unfortunately Valerie was really sick for the first 5 days of our vacation, so I had to stay home with her while the boys went.
Uncle Ryan and Uncle Ray met them there, and they couldn't resist striking a spiderman pose.
