Making Memories

Let me just begin this post by saying that my kids have a wonderful daddy! The boys have been begging Darryl to sleep in a tent with them for quite a while now. So last weekend Darryl decided to do it, and the boys could not have been more excited! It was one of the nights where it rained all night long, so they had quite an adventure. Darryl pitched the tent right on our back patio since the grass was too wet. I thought for sure they'd come in after a few hours, but they stayed out there all night. As I was in the house getting ready for bed, I could hear Darryl and the boys playing shadow puppets and telling stories. Although it seems like such a simple, insignificant thing, it was really cute and it made me realize how lucky I am to have such an unselfish husband who was willing to give up his sleep in order to make some memories with his sons!

Valerie had to get in on the action for a little while! :)
