Valentine's Day was interesting this year. Darryl and I planned to go out all day Saturday, but when Valerie woke up with throw up all over her and a fever we weren't really sure if that was still gonna happen. As the morning went on she seemed to be doing fine, so we decided to still go out (I know, mean mom leaving a sick kid at home). But it was well worth it, and she was just fine! Our first stop was to get massages. Darryl took full advantage of the recliners and chocolates in the waiting area.
Then we met up with my sister and her husband and another couple for dinner and games. It was lots of fun.
Then, we had a whole dinner planned with some of our good friends for Sunday. I had bought lots of food, decorations, the works. Turns out ALL of our kids ended up being sick so we had to cancel. It was a huge bummer, but we at least got to enjoy a day away on Saturday!
