Christmas Fun #1

This year the Christmas season was busy as usual, but lots of fun! Christmas gets a little more exciting each year as the kids get older and are able to understand things a lot better. Here's some of the fun things we did!

Every year Darryl's police department throws a Christmas party for the kids. There are several fun activities, good food, and a visit from Santa!

I think the kids favorite part is the balloon man who makes them anything they want. Here is Kyle's "santa wristband"

Leave it to Damon to want something totally random that the balloon guy has never made before.... a motorcycle helmet! All I gotta say is I burned a ton of calories laughing at it. He was so excited!

And Valerie wanted a flower....she got 2.

Next was the face painting. Valerie wasn't so sure about it, but she sat there perfectly still while they did it.

Once again, Damon decided to be totally original. Forget about painting some cute Christmas design on your face, he had to have a spiderman on his arm! Damon let them know that he wanted the whole body of spiderman, not just his face.

SANTA!!!

A couple weeks before Christmas, I got to spend a morning with Damon at his preschool and help him make a gingerbread house

He also painted a snowman

And drank hot chocolate with cousin Blake

We went to the Mission Inn one night for family night and got to check out all the Christmas lights
